TT: Ranked 2nd at Lighthouse Got Talent!

For this Thursday, I want to be thankful for the favor that God showed to our lighthouse group last Sunday evening! As I did mention last time, in the 24th year thanksgiving anniversary of our church, which was held last Sunday, we had this competition called "Lighthouse Got Talent" wherein each member of our lighthouses will present a production number that exposes the talent of each member, based on the culture of each group. We really prepared for it and I'm happy that every effort and sacrifices made by our group really paid off. We ranked 2nd place and receive another special award. It's an honor for us to show to everyone what we really got as a lighthouse. Thank God, we were able to make it! I would also like to extend my congratulations to other lighthouses who presented outstandingly on that night. And for the production staffs and committees, GREAT JOB!

Lessons From Our Own Mistakes

 
I had a great time last night when we had our lighthouse prayer fellowship! We were having fun as we tackle about the topic "MISTAKES". We were laughing at our own personal experience of committing errors, even just in simple ways, as we share to the group. It's a mere proof that we are just normal humans. Born to make mistakes! As we were pondering upon it, there are certain representations or lessons we get once we commit mistakes and these are the following:

Let me start with letter:

M - Messages we get out from our committed faults and errors.

I - Interruptions that causes us to reflect and evaluate the appropriateness of our actions.

S - Sign post that directs us to the right path.

T - Test that will push us towards growth or maturity.

A - Awakening that restores our right mentality.

K - Keys that we can use to unlock the next door of opportunity.

E - Exploration that leads us to a journey where we've never been before.

S - Statements of our developmental progress.

Sometimes, our mistakes are the ones that causes us to be GREAT by learning the lessons we get behind it. So don't be afraid to commit one! Just don't make a habit of making one. Cause as humans, we ought to commit mistakes. The good thing there is, "We become better people when we learn the lessons we get from our own MISTAKES!"
